Canadian Macroeconomic Service
The Canadian Macroeconomic Service combines the talents of several award winning economists into a team that provides members with a monthly view on current issues and risks to the Canadian economy. The short-term outlook for the Canadian economy is generated by our quarterly macro-econometric model of the Canadian economy (CQM). The forecast uses assumptions from, and is consistent with, the widely followed forecasts for the United States economy published by Macroeconomic Advisers, LLC. To help members manage risk, the service goes beyond mere forecast numbers by providing rapid, quantitative analysis of critical events that impact the economy.
