Our clients engage us to develop base case and alternative demographic projections and to assess the impacts of these expected future changes on the demand for health care and related services and products.

• We prepared a report examining the economic cost of waiting for medical treatment for periods in excess of those recommended by the Wait Time Alliance (2006).
• We developed a Physician Demand and Supply forecasting model for the province of British Columbia (2006).
• We are developing a model of Ontario's hospital expenditures that can be used for planning purposes for the Joint Policy and Planning Committee of the Ontario Hospital Association and the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care (ongoing).
• We provided expert witness testimony in a health care arbitration on behalf of one of the provinces (2001).
• We have carried out detailed demographic projections by age and gender for the catchment areas of a number of hospitals across Ontario in support of their strategic planning and case load projection endeavors (ongoing).
