Regulatory Policies

Our clients engage us to examine the economic structure and performance of different geographic areas or industries to assist them in dealing with the regulatory process.

• We provided expert testimony at an Ontario Municipal Board hearing on behalf of the City of Burlington in a matter dealing with a developer’s request to convert employment lands to residential purposes; the OMB decided on behalf of the City with respect to this matter (2005).
• We provided expert testimony in an arbitration case on behalf of one of the provincial governments (2001).
• We served as an expert witness on behalf of the Crown in a court case (1999).
